Lemon Ginger Shrub

Shrubs bring flavor to your drinks through an exciting fusion of fresh fruit, sugar and vinegar, which are blended to create a tasty base for cocktails and thirst quenching sodas.

To use your shrub, mix 1/2 oz (or to taste) with your favorite spirits or sparkling water.

Lemon Ginger Shrub Sour

  • ice
  • 1 oz bourbon
  • 2 oz ginger shrub
  • 2 oz club soda
  • dash angostura bitters
  • maraschino cherry to garnish

Combine shrub, bourbon, and 2 cubes of ice in a cocktail shaker, and shake until frosty.  Pour into a rocks glass, add the bitters, and top with club soda.  Serve with cherry.

You can also mix with a good quality olive oil for a dressing for your salads.

Shake well before using.

Refrigerate after opening.
